[Letter], 1894 Aug. 7, Selden, Ohio, [to] George W. Blakely, M.D., Washington Court House, Ohio.

Johnson requests that Dr. Blakely examine his wife, who has developed a complaint following sexual intercourse. An unstated venereal disease is implied, perhaps gonorrhea. Johnson concludes, "But if I have done the deed, tell her it is something else for Christ sake."
